Technokolla NZ brings you Techno Plan 10-N, a high-performance, fast-setting self-leveling mortar built for precise and reliable floor preparation. It fills and smooths irregular surfaces in layers from 1 to 10 mm thick, making it the right choice for residential installations that demand a smooth, level substrate before floor coverings go down.

The modified polymer formula hardens by hydration, delivers high hardness and surface resistance, and produces a low-porosity finish that is easy to polish. Its ability to develop low internal tensions makes it particularly well suited for use over heated screeds, reducing the risk of cracking or delamination caused by thermal movement.

  • Suitable for application on heated screeds
  • Application thickness from 1 to 10 mm; up to 20 mm when charged with aggregates
  • Rated for wheeled chairs and furniture per EN 12529 at thicknesses over 1 mm
  • Pumpable for efficient large-area application
  • High hardness and surface resistance
  • Low surface porosity with a smooth finish
  • Easy to polish
  • Modified polymer composition
  • Hardens by hydration
  • High levelling capacity for irregular surfaces
  • Develops low internal tensions
  • Grey powder

Techno Plan 10-N is designed to fill and level substrates before laying indoor floor coverings, including:

  • Ceramic tiles
  • Textile floor coverings
  • Flexible floor coverings
  • Wooden floors in residential and non-industrial settings

How to use guide or featured videos

1. Can this be used at more than 10mm without adding aggregate?
On its own, it's formulated for 1 to 10mm. Beyond that, up to 20mm is achievable, but only when charged with suitable aggregates; it's not designed to reach 20mm as a plain mix.

2. Is the finish suitable for polished concrete-style floors?
Yes. It cures to a low-porosity, smooth finish that's easy to polish, making it a practical base where a refined surface finish matters, not just a rough levelling layer.

3. Is it rated to handle furniture or wheeled chairs once cured?
Yes, it meets EN 12529 for wheeled chairs and furniture at thicknesses over 1mm, which matters for spaces like home offices or areas with regularly moved furniture.

4. Does the substrate need any preparation before applying it?
Like other self-leveling products in this range, the substrate needs to be clean, structurally sound, and free of dust, oil, or loose material before application, with priming typically required depending on how absorbent the surface is.

5. What floor coverings is it compatible with once cured?
Ceramic tiles, textile coverings, flexible flooring, and wooden floors in residential and non-industrial settings, giving it more flexibility than a levelling product designed for tile only.
