How to use guide or featured videos

1. What tile sizes and materials is TECHNO STAR suitable for?
It handles ceramic tiles of all types, including large-format porcelain stoneware, along with natural stone and marble, provided the stone isn't water-sensitive.

2. Can this adhesive be used over existing tiles?
Over-tiling on old ceramic is one of its main uses, and it doesn't require a primer first, which speeds up renovation work.

3. Is TECHNO STAR suitable for swimming pools and façades?
Its high-performance formula is built for demanding settings like pools, façades and industrial floors, where standard adhesives may not hold up as well.

4. How thick a layer can be applied?
Layers of up to 15mm are supported, which suits uneven substrates or larger format tiles that need more adhesive coverage underneath.

5. What substrates does it bond to?
It works on cement-based plaster, cement-lime mortar, concrete, aerated concrete, old ceramic floors and several other substrates, with a couple of surfaces like plasterboard requiring a primer coat first.

6. Is it suitable for heated floors?
Fixing over electric or water heating screeds is one of its listed uses, so it's a suitable option for underfloor heating installations.
